DFA is very strict when it comes to requirements but their service is disappointing. I was told today that my application is suspended because one requirement is missing. It was determined later on that it was not scanned by the employee who took my photograph :(

Docs Authentication Problem

I am reaching your good office out of despair. My name is Lerma Cervantes from Cebu City. I have submitted my documents (TOR, diploma, CAV and NBI) last June 28 but was informed that there was a problem with the authentication because they need the real document. I am certain that the documents TOR and Diploma are the authenticated copy along with my CAV specifying the purpose DFA authentication for the two documents. I have my tickets booked and schedule just about right for the arrival of my docs. Therefore delay is very difficult for me and costly. My email address is lerma.cervantes34@***.com. I paid for nothing

I'm currently here in UAE and I asked my mother to assist my 3 kids on their passport application. I provided the required documents like SPA and affidavit of consent/travel permit from the consulate.

They went to ASEANA but unfortunately nirerequire din nila ang DSWD clearance to travel. My mother informed the processor that they will not go for travel, I just want them to have a passport. And ang masakit pa na part dito is kinukuha din ang father consent na di ko na alam kung nsang lupalop ng mundo. Ang DSWD dahil di raw nmin alam ang whereabouts ng father kuha daw kami ng report from police.

At yung binayad kong more than 3k e not refundable. Wala man lng consideration tong mga to! Pera pera lng?!

Di biro ang umabsent sa ibang bansa at magprocess ng papel sa consulate pra ireject lng nila. Anung klaseng system ba meron ang DFA.

I am a claimant of my daughter ‘s passport at SM Manila. Last February 7, 2019, Thursday, I was to claim her passport.. As I entered DFA NCR WEST (SM City, Manila), I was lead to window 1 to leave my

Receipt which I did. After leaving my receipt, I went to a corner, near the exit, ignorantly using my phone to reply back to my husband, as for him to know my whereabouts.

While doing this, I got alarmed because someone was shouting “BAWAL ANG CELLPHONE DITO, KITANG-KITA KAYO SA CCTV O, ANG LAKI-LAKI NG SIGN EH!!!!” I told her I didn’t see the sign since I didn’t have 20/20 vision, and besides we should have been informed upon entering. The lady ‘s name is Ms JOY ROQUE. I told her, if I had known/ 0r seen that cellphones were prohibited, then i should have abided. There was no need for her to yell at people.

I was shocked with the way she treated me. At the back of my mind, are the employees at DFA really like so? I felt like I was a criminal when I was just claiming my passport! I am sure no one would want to be treated this way too,, very rude..

I hope or rather wish that we be treated with respect,,, not only me,, but all of us !!

The yelling and shouting I felt was not necessary. Ms Joy Roque could have said it in a nice way

This is for everyone to know that I also got my passport in SM manila. Spending more than 2hrs in their office without the use of cellphones.

Upon entry, the guards will stress that you (1) CANNOT USE YOUR CELLPHONE while inside the premises; (2) spending more than 2hrs in line in the facility they have AMPLE NO OF SIGNAGES in Various sizes in PRINT and PICTURES stressing that said activity is not allowed.

The worker who may have unintentionally loud voice to inform the citizen to whom beyond her knowledge has poor vision that cellphone is not allowed can be coached by her superiors instead of being unnecessarily reprimanded. And I hope that for us citiZens to be mindful of our surroundings to ensure we follow and respect the rules inside the government premises.

Never ever request for an expedited passport release

I requested to have my passport processed expedited ladt 01/11 knowing that the tentative release will be 01/20 but I received a text message advising me that it might be delayed for another 4-5 days so I waited until 01/28 since I did not receive any message. The worst thing is during the 8th day of waiting for an expedited request, my passport was still unavailable. I was so frustrated because I didn't get any notification from them. I just walked out of the DFA Consular Office in Antipolo.

POOR SERVIEC

This is to feedback the poor service and bad attitude at DFA-ALABANG for passport renewal. At Counter 2, the lady just punched the existing passport of applicant without asking if applicant has upcoing trip or outbound travel. This is negligence on DFA side. Standard question (i.e. any upcoming trip prior on release of new passport?) should be asked to applicant before punching the passport. Or PUNCHING should be at the last step, on release counter. The lady Counter 2 was blaming the applicant for not informing them that applicant has an upcoming trip. How does an applicant know if that station would be the punching station? Didn't ask relevant question as well. Very diasspointing on attitude of the DFA-ALABANG. Sorry that your applicant was so STUPID!!!

Good day, today 18th if January, it’s friday last day of office days at 09:50 me and my wife with my five months baby girl with my inlaws ages 58 yrs old go to alabang center to take a passport for my baby, and one lady is very rude who is incharge in the line who is not giving us a small consideration since we our OFW and we only have few days here in the country and have more things to do, we beg this lady me and my inlaws to gave us consideration for being late since we still have time left because the closing is at 10am, but this lady is telling us only 150 customer they will accept every day, and she ask me if which country I was working, I told her I’m in kuwait and only few days left for me and I need to have the passport of my baby before going back, and she told me go take your baby passport in kuwait better!!! she told me like that in a bad attitude way, is that a good incharge? Is that a good customer servce? And while we are going out of the office she shouted us and call a guard, GOURD LET THEM GO OUT NOW!!! She’s yelling us to go out, i ask for her name but she refused, she is not wearing an ID while on duty, or she hide it, as I know all employees even in different industry ID is a must, and must be shown or seen by all times while on duty, and even browsing her Facebook in her mobile while talking to to us, we are soo disappointed with the service, we just want some disciplinary action for this kind of employee, your attention for this matter is highly appreciated... we sending this message not for personal issue, but for a better public service in the the future... I went to dfa Robinson Pampanga para kumuha ng passport ng anak ko, she 2 years old pagdating ko dun sabi nung guard balik nlng aq ng maaga kinabukasan mga 6am pra pumili sa priority lane dhil first 100 lng tinatanggap nila everyday. My single parent I’d din aq pero ndi n dw tlga pwede. Angela town got bahay ko SA dfa office and may ksma aqng bata. At bkit kailangan png pumila ng napaka aga e 10pm plng nagbubukas ang mall makakatagal ba ang bata sa gnung set up

An ultrasound of my pregnancy about 8 yrs ago?! Really?!

Since i will not be able to accompany my child sa schedule nya last june 27 sa DFA MARQUEE MALL PAMPANGA my mom was the one with him. I provided everything single thing that they might ask from my mom. Actually this was the second time na nireject nila ang application ng anak ko. The first was last april. Since mag8 na ang anak ko im after the courtesy lane so i tried my luck to get him passport that time but since late registered nga ang anak ko i wasn't able to get it and processed it that time kasi nga certified true copy lang ang dala kong BC nya with authentication of PSA MAIN. That time i understand na maybe di nga talaga allowed un and they told me kailangan daw PSA COPY talaga ang dala ko. So be it. Yeah i booked another day for schedule and eto na nga yun last june 27 lang. To my disappointment rejected nanaman ang application ng anak ko they say because he was late registered and the PSA was so new they needed a copy of MY ULTRASOUND when i was pregnant 8 yrs ago. Really?! You expect people to keep an eight years copy of black and white picture of a small human being with very tiny part that you your eyes can't even identify where the baby there. Really?! I will understand if you're asking for a copy of an old ID or affidavit of two disinterest person who may know that my son is really using that name that was REGISTERED in PSA. But *** NO. Its seems like that you guys are telling me that it is impossible that my son can process and get his passport. For Christ sake, please get your mind and yourself together. Even the ultrasound of my 2 mos old baby now i never kept what more for an 8 yrs ultrasound copy? Really?

Naisip ko lang, even PHILIPPINES STATISTICS AUTHORITY ay hindi nanghingi sakin ng ultrasound copy they just asked for baptismal copy old ids form 137 of my son then why the *** DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS is now asking me for an ultrasound copy it should be PSA which should ask me for that.

Im so disappointed. Really. Waste of money effort especially TIME SINCE WE ALL KNOW NA PAHIRAPAN MAGPASCHEDULE PARA MAKAKUHA NG PASSPORT.

Pilipinas common people be realistic! Kahit na may maiprovide akong 8 yrs old copy of an ultrasound does it shows na this boy who was about to get the passport now is the same person in that ULTRASOUND PICTURE?! REALLY?! Kakaloka kayo!!!!

good morning. i have concern regarding my appointment. my sister negotiate from your office for my appointment for new passport last march 4 and it was approve already. but she doesn`t know that i had my old passport but already expired last 2017. and my point is to renew supposed to so that it will be easier but i had already appoinment for the new passport. what will i do sir/mam?
